Recycling solutions
Brainscape ensures that discarded technology is given new value. We process WEEE in accordance with the strictest European standards, with maximum recovery of raw materials and a strict zero-landfill policy. In this way, we limit the environmental impact and keep valuable materials in the circular chain.
Sustainable processing. Preserving value
What we do
Our recycling processes combine efficiency, safety and sustainability.
- Zero-waste policy: no part ends up in landfill.
- Material recovery: metals, plastics and components are separated and reused.
- Full compliance: processing in accordance with ISO, WEEELabex and European environmental regulations.
- Transparent reporting: insight into your waste streams and environmental gains.
How does it work
Step 1 – Registration
Register your company, school or organisation by email or using our online form. We will provide the right trasport solution: a recycling box, wheelie bin or battery box.
Step 2 – Collection
When the box, wheelie bin or battery box is full, we will collect it on request and replace it with an empty one.
For IT equipment and ink or toner cartridges, the contents must be of sufficient value to cover the transport costs; if not, the difference will be charged.
Step 3 – Sorting and processing
Upon receipt, all devices are carefully tested for their reuse potential.
Working devices proceed to the reuse and refurbishment process.
Devices that are no longer usable are recycled: they are safely dismantled, harmful substances are removed, and valuable materials are recovered as secondary raw materials.
Step 4 – Compensation
For devices that are suitable for reuse, we provide compensation at market rates. Transport costs and proceeds are settled transparently.
Who can recycle?
Our recycling solutions are suitable for:
- Companies that want to dispose of old ICT equipment in a sustainable manner.
- Schools and associations that collect and raise awareness in an environmentally conscious way.
- Dealers who take back empty cartridges or devices from customers, thereby reducing their own ecological footprint.
Brainscape always offers a tailor-made solution.
